Senior Software Developer Contract Job

Job Description

• Translate business requirements to technical documents in accordance with agreed templates
• Develop new customizations, reports and interfaces in the Core Banking System in conformance with development standards
• Test software to ensure the code is correct, fixing ('debugging') errors where they occur, and rerunning and rechecking the program until it produces the correct results
• Take ownership and ensure high quality and timely delivery of multiple developments in accordance with related development plans
• Recommend improvements to existing Core System technical and business processes in order to meet requirements
• Contribute in the preparation of user manuals, guides and other material to ensure supportability and reuse
• Analyze, prioritize and fix open issues to ensure timely resolution of issues affecting business applications
• Implement security and data protection measures.

Job Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in web development
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and Java / BIRT Reporting
• Experience with PHP and frameworks (Laravel/Symphony/CodeIgniter)
• Understanding Phyton Programing
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Expertise in MySQL/PostgreSQL database design
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
• Version control experience (Git)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS EC2/Alibaba ESC)
• The ability to speak English or Chinese is better.
