Job Description

  1. Develop and implement MICE-specific sales and marketing strategies.
  2. Achieve individual sales goals within assigned MICE market segments.
  3. Conduct outside sales calls and hotel tours focused on MICE clients.
  4. Prepare tailored proposals with the Area Sales Manager for MICE events.
  5. Maintain relationships with in-house MICE customers to encourage repeat bookings.
  6. Assist in completing monthly booking reports related to MICE activities.

Job Requirements

  1. Education: Bachelor / Master Degree in Sales & Marketing.
  2. Experience:
    • At least 7-8 years of experience in sales from hotel industry
    • Minimum of Three years in hotel sales, particularly in MICE.
    • Local market knowledge preferred for MICE segments.
    • Experience managing to brand standards in MICE settings.
    • Familiarity with group bookings in the MICE sector.
    • Experience in customer relationship management within MICE contexts.
  3. Skills:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interactions.
    • Effective negotiation skills tailored to MICE contracts.
    • Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple events.
    • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and client needs.
    • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams, including event coordinators and marketing.
